When Ryba’s opened on Mackinac Island, people were pretty sure we wouldn’t make it. 👀🍫

Our family has been making fudge on Mackinac Island for four generations, and along the way, we’ve collected plenty of stories. Sweet Family Stories is our way of sharing the people, memories, and moments that have shaped Ryba’s Fudge through the years.

If this has you craving fudge, wait until you see our Fall Fudge Fest plans. 🍫 @mackinacisle Fall Fudge Fest is almost here (October 2–3!) and here’s what we have planned at Ryba’s:

☕ Friday & Saturday, 10 AM: Free fudge-flavored coffee samples at Ryba’s Corner Store, next to Starbucks, while supplies last.

🔥 Friday & Saturday, 7 PM: Campfire s’mores with Ryba’s Fudge at Island House Hotel. Open to the public! Kits are $5 and make two s’mores, while supplies last.

🍫 Saturday, 2 PM: Watch Gregg Callewaert make fudge and share the stories behind it at the Corner Store.

🍂 Saturday, 6 PM: Take a fall hayride with a Ryba’s treat for the ride. Tickets are $50, and spots are limited: https://tinyurl.com/fallhayride

🎲 Ryba’s Fudge BINGO: Pick up a card at any Ryba’s Fudge Shop and play for a chance to win some sweet treats. No purchase necessary to play, though some squares require a purchase to cross off.

Plus you won’t want to miss our version of the flavor contest name “Fudge Around and Find Out” 🤭

We can’t wait to celebrate fall and all things fudge! 💕
